Kyookie began the way many good things do with two people who love baking, eating, and sharing desserts that make people feel warm inside.
In November 2023, we baked our very first batch of Basque cheesecakes and Korean-style cookies and shared them on Instagram. What started as a simple page to show desserts we loved making quickly turned into something bigger. Friends started ordering through DMs… then friends of friends… and soon we were baking more than we ever expected.
By summer 2024, we built our first website, sold out at farmer’s markets, and watched customers travel across the valley just to pick up our desserts. That was the moment we realized Kyookie wasn’t just a hobby anymore it was a community.
Today, we bake out of a commercial kitchen and deliver to two local cafés, Space Tea and The Tea Barn, where our weekly drops consistently sell out. Each step has shown us that there is a real love and appreciation for Korean-style desserts whether it reminds someone of home or introduces someone to flavors they’ve never tried before.

Do you offer custom cakes or dessert orders for special occasions?
Yes! We offer a limited number of custom cakes and specialty dessert orders each month for birthdays, celebrations, and special events. If you’re looking for something unique, we’d love to work with you.
To get started, simply fill out our Custom Order Inquiry Form with details about your occasion, preferred flavors, and serving size. We’ll review it and get back to you!
Where can I get Kyookie at?
